Adda::2 years + Kennedy::Maternity {purple thistle session}

This session was a last-minute, spur-of-the-moment kind of session, but the end results have been some of my favorite pictures I have ever taken.  

I posted on instagram & facebook that I wanted to take advantage of the "pretty weeds", aka purple thistles while they were so vibrant.  I really only had the opportunity to do a session that night with leaving town and other obligations.

One of my friends contacted me and we set it up and got 'er done all within a few hours!

Little Adda was soon turning 2 and her momma was pregnant with a little sister.
They are seriously 2 of the most beautiful girls I have ever photographed... and isn't little Adda just a little MINI-ME of her mom??

I could NOT be happier with how they turned out!!

It is exactly how I pictured using these "pretty weeds".  

Baby Kenzie::Newborn

This cute family was referred to me by one of my good friends.

 I had no idea when I was walking into this wonderful home for a newborn shoot that I was walking into a famous novelist's home! 

This little babe's talented mother is an author of "The Shapeshifter's Secret" - a fantasy trilogy. I pretty much stopped in my tracks when I found this out and was anxious to hear more.... you could find them at Costco and I believe Amazon if you want to check 'em out! The third book in the series just made its debut earlier this month.

So of course we had to have the books represented in this shoot.
She was a beautiful baby girl who was awake pretty much the whole time, but was happy just being with us. 

Best Family:: Summer Edition

Well they are back and more beautiful than ever for their SUMMER edition pictures (click on the 2nd link above to see her ideas with these 'seasonal' pictures...love it.)

Little Noelle is still growing like crazy and it's so fun to see how different she is from the time she was a newborn.

If you didn't already know from the past posts, Dezaray is another fellow photographer (at Dezaray Best Photography... if you're in Southern Utah area, you'll want to check her out!)  We have loved being 'photo buddies' and at the last minute before this shoot, I asked her if she could snap a few of my little family (which are shown in my 'about me' section).  She was more than willing, and even though one of my little men was being a stinker and refused to get any good pictures of him, she still got some amazing shots.

We had a good time SHOOTING each other.

'Cuz you know... that's what photographer's do best.... shoot people. ;)
