What to Expect:
You'll want to schedule a newborn
session before the baby is born, if possible. It is best to
photograph them within the first 2 weeks (preferably 7-10 days).
They are more sleepy and easier to get those precious poses around
this time. Parent/sibling photos are optional upon request. Just let
me know ahead of time so I can plan for it.
The session can be done in my in-home studio, or in the comfort of your own home. If you choose your home, there may be an extra travel fee, and I will need the best room/space
with natural light, such as a large window. I will also try to
arrive a little early so I can set up while you finish getting baby
ready. The area we decide for the shoot should be very warm for the
baby. We will discuss more as we make an appointment.
When we schedule your appointment,
expect me to have a list of questions I will ask you through email
(preferred method), phone call, or text to help the session flow more
smoothly. Questions to expect: what kind of style/look are you
wanting? Do you like the baby to be unclothed without a diaper in
some pictures, or is that not your thing? Do you prefer to have
sleeping or awake pictures? (may depend on baby) Do you have any
special props or heirlooms you would like to use to personalize the
photos? Does daddy/mommy/sibling want to be in any shots? Etc....
Newborn shoots can take the longest
time out of any of the shoots. Depending on baby, we can get done
within an hour, or it could take up to 3 hours. I try not to go over 2 hours. We may also be able to get a variety of different poses
with different props/backdrops, or we may be limited to just one or two,
depending on mood of the baby/situation. Do not fret in any case.
We will make sure to get some shots no matter the situation. :)

Pictures will be in color and I usually
provide newborn shoots with all black&white edits as well.
I do not limit the amount of pictures you receive, just as many as I can.
Babies & Toddlers
Around the age of 3 months, babies typically to start to
smile and giggle, and you'll want to cherish that forever. Toddlers
are fun, crazy, innocent, and sweet all wrapped up in one big
package. Let them be little, and document it while you can.

What to Expect:
The focus of this session is all about the little ones!
This can include portraits of
individuals/siblings/friends of 3 months or older. My focus is to
capture their milestones, personalities, interests, and hobbies at
their age. Sessions are fun, playful, colorful, and specified
around the age of your child(ren), the season, and a shared vision.
This can be a first birthday session with a cake smash, a themed session (think super-heroes, princesses,
pirates, vintage, hobbies) or just a simple one. We will discuss more
upon scheduling a shoot.

Children:
Do you have a reason to celebrate YOUR
child? Do they have a birthday coming up? Did they receive a special
award? Are they getting baptized? Did they graduate to big
brother/big sister? Did they lose their two front teeth? Did they
make a sports team? Are they starting school? Graduating? Did they
get a new outfit? Do you just want to make them feel special? Any reason to celebrate them is a good reason! :)

I know it happens with every busy
family.... we go from taking a bajillion pictures of our babies &
toddlers reaching their milestones, and then life intervenes and we
don't capture their growing up
years as much. Let's celebrate them at this stage right now.... the
lost teeth, the braces, the wild-and-the-crazy, the goofy grins, the
shy smiles, the knock-knock jokes, the happy-go-lucky moments... they
will all disappear all too fast. Let's celebrate them.

friendship & bond between the pair
(engaged couple, best friends, married
couple, soon-to-be-parents, senior couple)
They feature both posed images along
with more relaxed, playful shots of interaction and connections. Upon request of setting up your photos, we will talk about the style,
look, and colors you're going for, as well as locations of your
choosing. Depending on what you are picturing, time of year, weather, and situation (engagement, maternity, anniversary, best friends, etc) the session can take place at a variety
of places with multiple outfit changes.

Family sessions feature both posed images along
with more relaxed, playful shots of interaction and connections.
Upon request of setting up your photos, we will talk about the style,
look, and colors you're going for, as well as locations of your
choosing. Depending on what you are picturing, time of year, weather
and age of your child(ren), the session can take place at a variety
of places, including a park, field, downtown/urban environment, a
public location, a favorite place, or your home.
The family photoshoot includes a
variety of family & group shots, along with individuals, if you
choose.
*price may vary depending on size of
family, location, season, traveling fee, etc.
